Officeworks Midland

If I could give 0 stars I would. First tried a click and collect for 3 6x4 inch photos. Then told that it would take 7-10 days and that it would be faster to come in and self print. So I came in and was met with nothing but frustration. The kiosk machines would not accept my photos, would not connect to the app they recommend to use or connect to my phone. Only half the machines worked enough to go past the original menu and I never ended up being able to print at all. For a stationary company I was completely and utterly disappointed with the photo printing service. I’m going to Kmart next time.

I had to print so many different things today from stickers to posters for my wedding after a very stressful week. Hayley was so patient and helped me make sure everything lined up right and made sure I left happy she was so lovely!

The printing section at this Officeworks branch is the worst I have ever seen. It has gone from okay to worse over the last few months. Most of the times printers required for the job are out of order or it takes so much longer for them to print a small single page job which they used to print out to you in few minutes if they weren't busy. But now they spend the time with you at the counter accepting the job to your requirements and doing all the design work to fit the paper to only refuse to print it saying they have to finish other jobs first. In all these instances the printer was not printing at all - understandable if it was really busy. We lived with these issues but what made me write this review is because recently we stood in the cue for over 20 minutes to be finally told they are not able to take passport photos due to technical difficulties. They should have at least put a sign up at store or update the website, so customers don't waste their time and what's more frustrating is I tried to call the store multiple times beforehand on the day to check, nobody answered! Very unprofessional answers given back to you when you ask questions from them as well. There were some good staff working here before who did not only a good job, but also good to customers.

I used the self service kiosk to order a canvas print. I got a text to say it was ready 2 days laters and when I went to pick it up they said they had lost it and would prioritise a new prind saying it would be another 2 days it's now been a week and nothing. I'm currently on hold to chace it up. I've been on hold for 20 mins so thought I would write a review to pass the time.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have had the same experience as every other customer who has given poor ratings for OfficeWorks Midland below and yet the management do NOTHING to improve their service. There are far too few staff to serve customers' needs and endless waiting in queues at the print section, click-and-collect (sic) or to make simple payments. The printing service is ABYSMAL at Midland. The person who appears to be the floor manager is totally unhelpful and seems to make up her own rules as she goes along e.g. We do not print after 5pm." Really? Why is there no sign or posting on your website so that your customers don't have to wait in a 30-minute queue to be told that you are not willing to provide the service that is advertised? Or "We can't print so many colour copies here [1 X 100 pages] because it will use up all our ink for the other customers". Really? Why is my payment for the ink worth less value than that that might be made by other customers and if you have such a rush on ink why not get in more supplies? Or

Need more staff on front checkout - I ended up walking out without purchasing my products! only having 1 person on the front desk with a huge queue, isn't fair on staff nor customers.No manager in sight and multiple staff working on the floor stocking shelves, which you think would be arranged to be completed early in the morning or late afternoon before closing.This is a regular issue! I no longer shop at the Midland officeworks due to this. .

Found a Gallaxy A54 5g phone with a price tag of $546..have photo evidence...went to the checkout and they wanted over $100 more...fed me some nonsense...btw they didn't change the price tag on the shelf...be wary of this illegal practice. Went accross the road and bought a phone at Harey Norman and they said Officeworks have been doing this for years, about time they where prosecuted I say.

Just terrible terrible service…… been twice in a few months. First time was for some standard photos and after I hadn’t heard anything for a couple of days, I had to call them to follow it up to be told the printer was broken and maybe they’d have it for me by the afternoon. No apology. Now this morning I have been standing in a line for 15mins already behind two other people. Can only assume the guy behind the counter is already serving the first customer in the line, but even though we’ve been here for 15mins he has ONLY JUST acknowledged the second customer. Now he’s asked me if he can help me ignoring the other customer he already spoke to.No apologies when a second assistant (who was lovely and polite) finally came to assist.

Worst service I have ever experienced in my life! ended up demanding a refund on the photos I had printed 3 days prior to when they were required they never did the job.

Very incompetents. They say they would call back, they do not.They never pick up the phone either.The young ladies walking behind the printing area seem to hate their job and are rude.
